About Happy Panda Junk Removal in Calgary
Happy Panda Junk Removal is a Calgary-owned junk removal and demolition company based at 609 37 Street SW in Calgary, Alberta. It hauls away household junk, clears out homes and garages, and tears down decks and sheds for homeowners, families, landlords and offices across Calgary and eight nearby towns, seven days a week.
Our Story
Happy Panda started with a simple idea. Calgary needed a junk removal crew that showed up on time, treated people well, and kept usable items out of the landfill. We built the whole company around that.
We Remove Your Junk With A Smile
The panda is not just a mascot. Pandas are endangered, and they depend on forests that people keep clearing. We picked that mark on purpose. A clean habitat makes a Happy Panda. Every load we sort for donation or recycling is one less load buried in the ground.
Milestones
- 2023: Named a Top 10 Junk Removal company in Calgary by TrustAnalytica.
- 2023: Listed as Best of Calgary by Industry Oversight.
- Today: crews run seven days a week from 609 37 Street SW to nine communities.
What We Do
Happy Panda does two kinds of work: hauling away what you point at, and tearing down structures, then hauling the debris. You get the price before anything is lifted.
Junk removal and cleanouts
- Junk removal: household junk, yard waste, appliances and renovation debris, plus dump runs and garbage disposal.
- Furniture removal: couches, beds, dressers and office furniture carried out of any room.
- Mattress and box spring removal: every size, recycled when clean and dry.
- Garage cleanouts: paint, tires, lumber and shelving cleared, then the floor swept.
- Estate cleanouts: whole homes cleared, with keepsakes set aside for the family.
- Hoarder cleanouts: cleared discreetly, room by room, at the household’s pace.
Teardown and demolition
- Shed removal: wood, metal and plastic sheds emptied, taken down and hauled away.
- Deck removal: wood and composite decks torn out, with footings removed on request.
- Demolition services: interior strip-outs, garage demolition, concrete breaking and fence removal.

The owner answers the phone
Large franchises book through call centres. Here, no dispatcher sits between you and the people doing the work.
A crew you know by name
The crew introduces itself before starting, updates you while it works, and walks the finished space with you.
The price comes first
Jobs are priced by truck volume. Heavy materials and disposal fees are itemised, and the price you approve is the price you pay.
Donation before landfill
Usable goods are sorted on the truck for charity partners. Metal, clean wood and mattresses are recycled where facilities accept them.
Junk and demolition, one crew
Decks, sheds and strip-outs come down and leave with the same crew, on one quote.
Open seven days
Crews run from 7am to 8pm, every day of the week.
